The Children's Nest strives to create a loving environment that fosters learning through exploration and play with the following three main objectives:

  1. To create a loving, safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children. We would like you and your children to feel that our staff is an extension of your family and that our center is a home for your children while you are at work. We recognize the importance of a strong connection between home and school, which is why we have an open door policy. We encourage parents/guardians to stop by at any time.

  2. To encourage learning through exploration and play. The Children's Nest staff will encourage each child to try out new ideas at their own stage of development. The children will be provided with safe and exploratory activities that will help them develop both knowledge and self esteem.

  3. To create a safe and accepting environment so that children can develop the confidence to be unique. We strive to help all children develop the social skills needed to interact not only with children and adults within their own culture, but also with those from diverse cultural backgrounds. The Children's Nest does not discriminate based on race, sex, socio-economic status, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
