Two-year-old Room
Learning abounds in the two year old room! This room focuses on teaching independent skills. When the children are ready, teachers work with them everyday on potty training. Skills such as putting on their own shoes and clothes are also practiced.
The two year olds love to play with the large variety of toys that are in the room, including blocks and kitchen sets. They also love to go outside and play with the push toys and climbing equipment. When the weather is nice, they go outside twice a day.
One of the favorite activities in the two-year-old room is singing songs. Prior to lunch each day, everyone gathers on the carpet to read stories and sing songs. Some of their favorites include 'Willaby Wallaby,' 'The Alphabet Song,' and 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.' They also enjoy listening to books on CD and doing art projects, especially ones that involve paint! The cost is $135 weekly.Back to rooms.
